Introduction
Yuna & JP Jazz Orchestra is a New York-based multinational jazz orchestra led by Korean-born composer, conductor, and producer Yuna Lee and Chilean-born drummer and composer JP Faundez. Bringing together musicians of Asian, Latin American, and American backgrounds, the orchestra creates original works that unite diverse cultural traditions through the universal language of jazz.


Series Overview
The NOVA Jazz Series presents original concert performances featuring new compositions and arrangements by Yuna Lee and JP Faundez. Each performance brings together a rotating cast of internationally acclaimed musicians for a unique live experience that crosses genres, cultures, and borders.

New York Showcase — Coming 2027 Roots — A Jazz Dialogue, Vol. 1
Original compositions premiering in New York City for the first time on an American stage, featuring newly written works from the Roots Series by Yuna Lee and JP Faundez. The showcase will be accompanied by the release of a debut album, recorded with an ensemble of internationally acclaimed musicians from across Asia, Latin America, and the United States.

Previous Performances (2025, South Korea)
Yuna & JP Jazz Orchestra — Korean Premiere Funded by the Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation, the orchestra made its debut in South Korea, featuring core international members alongside Korean guest musicians. The program featured award-winning original compositions premiered by the Yuna Lee Jazz Orchestra, alongside newly arranged works for modern jazz large ensemble.
